Information used to provide the service
You can compare prices without an account. Towns, postcodes and journey endpoints you enter are processed to find places and routes. If you choose to share your location, your browser asks permission first; you can refuse or withdraw permission in your browser settings. Location sharing is not required.
External services
Place and route lookups use Postcodes.io, OpenStreetMap Nominatim and OSRM. Map tiles and map attribution resources are requested from external map providers. These services receive the relevant query or coordinates and normal connection details such as an IP address. Google Maps receives journey details only when you open a directions link. External services have their own privacy policies. Google Fonts supplies the site’s fonts.
Contact messages and administration
If you email us, we use your email address and message to respond and investigate your request. Administrator sign-in uses Lovable Cloud and Google; identity and session information are used to control access. No visitor account is needed to use public price pages.
Purpose, legal basis and retention
We process information necessary to respond to your requests, run the service and protect it from misuse on the basis of legitimate interests. Optional location sharing is based on your permission. Hosting services may process connection and diagnostic logs for service operation and security. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and meet applicable obligations; administrator sessions last until expiry or sign-out.
Browser storage
The site remembers whether you dismissed the savings card on this device and stores sign-in session information for administrators. See the cookie policy for details and removal options.
Your rights
Under applicable UK data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing. Email info@pumpscan.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. External providers may process information outside the UK under their own applicable safeguards.
